Sleeve - joint rubber
Company X-ATV has created a new generation of sleeves with enhanced durability capabilities. Our joint rubbers are made of EPDM material. Below is what Wikipedia says about EPDM material:
EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer), ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, a cross-linked elastomer in a sulfur or peroxide vulcanization process, characterized by good properties for reversible deformation under the influence of mechanical forces, while maintaining the continuity of its structure.
EPDM has very good properties including resistance to atmospheric conditions (ozone), resistance to water, good properties for high temperatures up to +110 °C, flexibility at low temperatures down to -40 °C, hardness in the range of 40-90 Shore A hardness scale. Due to its properties, it has found wide application in the production of products for the automotive industry.
